Schools all over the USA have been seeing an increase in gun violence and gun threats, with the growing Gun culture in the USA. My school district, the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, has also been part of the problem after facing several threats of violence towards our schools. I decided that this problem has to be solved and began this project to detect firearms on school premises via security cameras in our school.
