VENTILATOR SERVICE PROJECT

In 2021, India was devastated by the Delta variant of COVID-19, with 400,000 new cases in 1 day only. With the sudden outburst of COVID-19 cases, India was many shortages in the medical sector, most notably being the shortage of ventilators. Many people were not able to get treatment because of this, and many people passed.

As someone who has lost a family member from COVID, India's fight against COVID-19 hits close to home. Once the outbreak hit India, my grandmother, whom I was very close with, was one of the victims of COVID-19.
I knew that I had to join the fight against the coronavirus in India. I worked together with the Vasavi Seva Foundation and raised 2.9 million rupees to fund hospitals in India to purchase ventilators.

My work in organizing a charity to purchase ventilators for the local hospital has been recognized by the Cyberbad Police Commissioner, V.C Sajjanar.
